The Somaliland National Television (SLNTV) is a public service broadcaster.
Headquartered at Radio Hargeisa in Hargeisa, the capital city of Somaliland, it is the official public service station of the government of Somaliland, it employs over 500 staff in total, more than 300 of whom are in public sector broadcasting
The SLNTV is established under a ministerial Charter and operates under its agreement with the Ministry of Information, Culture, National Guidance.
Somaliland National Television founded in 2005, it broadcasts from via terrestrial transmission, as well as to other parts of Africa and the Middle East, and Europe and Asia through satellite.
The channel focuses on the Somali peninsula particularly in Somaliland and on the regional authorities. It also broadcasts political and social news.
