TV Brasil was established in December 2007 to fulfill Brazil's longstanding desire for a national, independent, and democratic public television network. Managed by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), it aims to enhance and diversify content offerings, providing informative, cultural, artistic, scientific, and citizenship-oriented programming.
